Salman Binsaleh Steel Products Company (SBS Engineering) is a 100% Saudi-owned engineering firm specialised in manufacturing, industrial project management and oilfield services. Established in 1996, SBS is headquartered in Dammam and has several offices worldwide. The company now operates across many industries, including power, oil and gas, steel, petrochemicals, cement and manufacturing.

SBS Engineering provides a number of products and services spread across several business segments:

• Oilfield services: Manufacture of static equipment (mud tanks, frac tanks, transportation and process skids) and rig support (repair and maintenance)
• Mechanical equipment manufacturing: Manufacture of plant equipment, such as spools, skids and vessels
• Projects and maintenance: Technical project management for industrial installations, including administrative and legal assistance, engineering and technological confidentiality
• Structural fabrication and industrial machining: Manufacture and supply of structural steels for heavy industry
• Re-engineering and industrial trading: Reverse engineering and OEM substitute manufacturing

With this wide-ranging service offering, SBS has worked on many major projects in Saudi Arabia, such as the Jazan refinery, Fadhili gas plant, the BAPCo Modernization Program and the Marjan Field Expansion programme.
