Leonardo Group

Leonardo Group is a Mozambican business development company with ventures in real estate, corporate services, agribusiness and energy. It acts as a local partner for entrants to the Mozambican market and specialises in the analysis and implementation of internationalisation projects for private enterprises and public-sector organisations.

The Group structures its activities under three main branches:

• Leonardo BC
• Leonardo Green
• Dugongo Destination Management

Leonardo BC offers consulting services related to business development, relationship and account management, market analysis and opportunity scouting. The company also supports growth efforts by offering public tender and grant management services, legal assistance, business intelligence and temporary management services, among others.

Through its Leonardo Green arm, the company engages in projects related to agricultural mechanisation, topographic and geographical information systems, water irrigation and sanitation, and the commercialisation of organic products. 

Leonardo also engages in the establishment and operation of renewable projects and energy generation facilities, in particular a biomass domestic fuel project in northern Mozambique, and two small-scale solar plants of 30-MW and 70-MW generation capacity. 

The company also offers destination management and real estate services through Group company Dugongo Destination Management, which supports international companies seeking business and leisure developments in Mozambique. Services offered include logistics, property management, and sundry tourism services. 

Save for its Italian CEO, Leonardo management is 100% Mozambican and the company strives in its business endeavours to maximise local content in the international ventures that it enters as partner or consultant, both regarding human resources requirements and general procurement.
