Inland and Offshore Contractors Limited (IOCL) is a marine and truck transport contractor based in Trinidad and Tobago. The company operates across the Caribbean and has offices in Guyana following its acquisition of Demerara Integrated Logistics in 2021.

The majority of IOCL’s business is geared toward the offshore oil and gas sector, The company structures its activities under four operating divisions:

• Marine transportation
• Land transportation
• Water blasting and pumping
• Tank cleaning

IOCL is one of the largest marine transportation providers in Trinidad and Tobago. The company owns a fleet of more than 65 modern dynamic positioning vessels ranging from 45 feet to 230 feet and capable of meeting a large number of operational requirements. The fleet includes:

• nine utility supply vessels
• four passenger supply vessels
• seven large crew vessels
• two jet-drive passenger vessels
• 22 crew boats

Through Demerara Integrated Logistics, the company provides specialised offshore logistics solutions and vessel support services to companies operating in Trinidad and Tobago’s oil and gas sector and energy industries, as well as to customers operating across the broader CARICOM region.

For land transportation, IOCL owns a fleet of more than 30 trucks of various lengths and several cranes and forklifts with lifting and handling capabilities of up to 45 tonnes. IOCL follows equipment maintenance and upgrade programmes to keep up with evolving industrial standards.

The company’s water jetting division manufactures high-pressure blasting pumps for various industrial applications, while the tank cleaning division offers a range of environmentally friendly equipment for applications including dry bulk cargo holds and liquid cargo tanks as well as brine and diesel storage vessels.

IOCL has carried out projects and provided offshore support services for domestic and international oil and gas companies and service providers operating in Trinidad and Tobago and throughout the Caribbean, including ExxonMobil, Repsol Guyana, Subsea7, SLB and Halliburton.
