Altrad Adyard is a UAE-based EPC contractor and industrial services provider that caters to the oil and gas, power, water and nuclear sectors. It is a subsidiary of the Altrad Group, an industrial conglomerate with more than 120 companies operating in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

The company is a leading provider of services to the UAE’s oil and gas sector and has extensive experience working on production, transportation, storage and refining facilities and LNG liquefaction and regasification assets. Its activities are structured under three main divisions:

• Project EPC services for greenfield and brownfield projects both onshore and offshore, including structural and mechanical engineering, electrical and instrumentation design, piping installations and sundry services to support construction, commissioning, maintenance and modifications.
• Rig construction and maintenance services ranging from design and life extension programmes to decommissioning.
• Offshore services, which include comprehensive offerings for rig and offshore platform construction projects.

Altrad Adyard has facilities across the UAE but primarily operates out of three main yards in Mussafah, Liwa and Fujairah. The main yard in Mussafah covers 70,000 square metres on the waterfront and includes quays, open and closed fabrication yards and maintenance workshops. Altrad Adyard’s Liwa yard covers 41,500 square metres and has a dedicated workshop for structural and piping fabrication that handles an average of 8,000 tonnes of structural fabrication per year.

For off-site work, the company has a fleet of lifting equipment and light-weight material handling modules for projects in remote locations or constrained areas with limited crane access.

Altrad Adyard has term contracts with all major oil and gas companies in the UAE as well as long-term maintenance and service contracts with companies across the sector.

The company’s staff have extensive experience in upstream oil and gas work and have conducted projects for major domestic and international oil producers, drilling contractors, engineering companies and oilfield services providers, including ADNOC, Chevron, BP, Oman LNG, Halliburton, Weatherford, Saipem and Technip Energies, among many others.
