BP participates in all segments of the oil and gas sector, including exploration, production, refining, distribution and marketing. It is also involved in power generation and various forms of trading. The company divides its activity into three business groups:

  • Gas and low-carbon energy, which includes the integrated gas and LNG businesses, onshore and offshore wind, hydrogen and CCS, gas and power trading, marketing of renewable and non-renewable power, and solar subsidiary Lightsource BP.
