Multichase Energy Services is an indigenous Nigerian oilfield services company focused on upstream production performance, well delivery and field-support services for international and national oil companies in Nigeria and the wider African subregion.

The company began operations in 2000 as Multichase Engineering and Services and adopted its current name in 2012.

Multichase’s main service offerings are:

• Technical and project management consultancy, including engineering design and EPC support, systems integration, supply chain management and training
• Drilling engineering and completion, such as coiled tubing and nitrogen services, tubular services, cementing, pressure pumping and seismic data processing
• Artificial lift and oil recovery optimisation through electric submersible pumps and gas lift systems
• Operations and production monitoring, including remote monitoring, data retrieval and well optimisation services

Multichase has completed projects for domestic and international energy companies, including Oando, Pan Ocean Oil, Seplat, Chevron, ExxonMobil and Shell. Since 2008, the company has been a local content vehicle partner for Baker Hughes, deploying its well drilling, completion and production optimisation technologies domestically.

The company’s operating model combines petroleum engineering with software development and integration, e-business consultancy and procurement support for upstream field developments, with an emphasis on safer systems, reduced downtime and robust installation management.
