Perenco is a privately owned, independent oil and gas exploration and production company with operations across Africa, Europe and the Americas. It is widely recognised for revitalising mature fields and delivering cost-effective, sustainable production. The company specialises in marginal assets and maintains a strong focus on disciplined investment and operational efficiency. Its infrastructure includes onshore terminals and a fleet of floating production and storage units across multiple regions. As of 2024, Perenco’s output included approximately 510,000 boepd of liquids, alongside LNG and LPG production.

Regional presence: In Gabon, Perenco operates offshore platforms and an onshore LNG facility which began production in 2023. In Cameroon, it maintains integrated oil and gas operations, including the Bipaga gas processing plant, which supplies domestic industry. In the Republic of Congo, the company leads operations at the Moho-Bilondo offshore development, with continued efforts to optimise output and extend field life. In Colombia, Perenco holds interests in multiple onshore blocks and associated pipelines, with production supported by infrastructure upgrades and new drilling activity.

Innovation and sustainability: Perenco is engaged in decarbonisation and low-carbon innovation, including participation in the UK’s first carbon dioxide injection trials at the Leman gas fields in the North Sea.
