SLB, rebranded from Schlumberger in 2022, is a global technology company and one of the world’s largest oilfield services providers. It is listed on the New York Stock Exchange, Euronext Paris, the London Stock Exchange and SIX Swiss Exchange.

The company’s primary customers are national oil companies, large integrated oil companies and independent operators.

SLB offers its services through four divisions:

  • Digital and integration
  • Reservoir performance
  • Well construction
  • Production systems

The digital and integration division offers software and data products such as exploration, imaging and survey libraries that are used in the identification, development and management of reservoirs. It also offers asset management tools for well construction and production improvement. SLB’s products are founded on both proprietary and open-source platforms.

Reservoir performance offerings consist of technologies and services to understand subsurface assets and optimise their productivity. They include wireline logging and perforating, pressure and flow-rate measurement and testing, and stimulation and intervention services.

The well construction division is the largest by revenue. It offers products and services related to designing and constructing wells so as to optimise placement and performance. Primary offerings include drilling bits, fluids and tools, well construction and cementing systems, rigs and rig equipment, engineering support and a range of measurement services.

The production systems division develops technologies and provides expertise to enhance production and recovery from reservoirs. These include artificial lift equipment and services, completions equipment, onshore and offshore platform wellhead systems, valves, processing and treatment systems, and a range of subsea solutions.
