Terranaut Technology provides trenchless services for subsurface construction and for the installation or maintenance of underground infrastructure. The company also engages in microtunnelling, directional drilling, pipeline construction, and steel and concrete works.
The company operates both as a specialist contractor and an integrated, full-service firm capable of handling all project phases from design to installation. Terranaut is an approved provider for various K-companies and Kuwaiti state and local authorities, and the company has also participated in projects for public sector clients in Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
Terrenaut’s services find application in various sectors including oil and gas, sanitation, electricity, transportation and construction. The company derives much business from new residential projects requiring connections to utility and telecommunications networks, and from water treatment and desalination projects. However, its core expertise is in oil and gas, with drilling and cable work associated with rig deployments accounting for a large share of the company’s turnover.
Offshore oil and gas developments represent a growth market for Terrenaut. Besides being able to cover a wide range of cabling and piping needs, the company offers tunnelling and directional drilling solutions that can represent a convenient, cost-effective alternative to large fixed or floating rigs.
