Middle East Technology Forum

In its sixth year ME-TECH 2016 includes technology and project-related presentations as well as ample opportunity for networking. The Forum will begin on 14 February with a day of workshops hosted by leading service providers.  ME-TECH 2016 will continue on 15 & 16 February beginning with plenary sessions and then breaking into two parallel conference streams, one focused on refining and the other on petrochemicals.

The plenary sessions will focus on the future outlook of the industry as well as showcasing new projects from across the region. Refinery and petrochemicals integration will once again be a leading topic during the conference. The event will also include discussions on breakthrough technologies and optimisation solutions.

IDTC

The event will assess the future competitiveness of the European refining sector within the context of tough regulations, changing trade flows, strong competition and volatile oil prices and will discuss best approaches in project financing nowadays.

The 2015 event attracted 150 delegates from more than 30 different countries and had a very high operator and supplier ratio.

7th International Gas Technology Conference

IGTC will concentrate on technologies that can be implemented in the hydrocarbons industry. Technology providers will present their latest developments and experiences in the key topic areas. There will also be presentations on large-scale GTL plants, as well as mini-GTL units which can be implemented to recover stranded gas in isolated locations. These technologies have now been proven in industrial plants and offer a real opportunity for gas producers to monetise their gas reserves instead of exporting.

 

7th Ghana Summit

The event will allow the government as well as companies in Ghana’s energy industry to discuss energy policy. The conference will gather key players from the industry to participate in game-changing discussions.

Getenergy Global 2016

A detailed programme over the course of two days will focus on this ‘new social contract’ alignment between IOCs and Governments, sharing key case studies and drawing from projects in Phases 1 and 2 to discuss JV partner negotiations in relation to local content and education and training requirements, as well as the issues and implications of working in a JV with NOCs in a low oil price environment.

6th Russia & CIS Oil & Gas Summit

The Executive Summit will provide the highest level of in-depth analyses of potential implications, latest updates and forecasts of possible scenarios that would help the market participants to make informed decisions based on a number of tangible factors that would be discussed.

Egypt Energy Investment Summit

Egypt has announced ambitious plans to double its current power generation capacity by 2020, a target that is seen as key to supporting Egypt’s  economic growth. This is a critical time for investors to understand directly from the government’s objectives and the investment opportunities in both greenfield and brownfield sites.

1st Iran Drilling Services Conference

Held on 20 and 21 January, 2016, at the at IRIB International Conference Center in Tehran, the event will be looking at ways to increase the drilling efficiency for the country’s oil and gas wells in a post-sanctions era.

Attendees will have the opportunity to see a range of presentations and visit a number of side-exhibitions, as well as share experiences with representatives from both domestic and international companies.

Rovuma Basin Market Briefing

AIE will be hosting the Rovuma Basin Market Briefing on the 28 January 2016 in Maputo. The market briefing is intended to bring together the various stakeholders from National and Provincial Government, Oil & Gas Operators, Project Developers, Construction, Finance and Professional Services, to understand the Legal Framework, Finance and Project Opportunities, and overall infrastructure plans and constraints.
