Gastech 2021

Securing the future of natural gas in the 21st century energy eco-system will be at the heart of Gastech, which will help shape the new energy paradigm for the next decade and beyond.

The underlying assumptions surrounding the energy industry are changing and we are witnessing the dawn of the net-zero industrial age. The 50th anniversary edition of Gastech will galvanize the discussions influencing the future of the gas, LNG, hydrogen and energy industry as it embraces the undoubted opportunities of an accelerating energy transformation.

Ahead of COP-27, Gastech will be in a unique position to examine the implications of the outcomes for the energy industry. Gastech Milan will enable the industry to demonstrate the changes it is making to deliver on commitments that can achieve a low to zero emissions energy mix.

Gastech will also explore the rate at which global energy demand is advancing and how this demand will need to be met by an energy mix of natural gas, renewable and alternative energies.

Natural gas will continue to be a key energy source provided the industry effectively tackles emissions. Rapid adoption of green gas solutions and collaboration with policy makers to support the development of the infrastructure needed to accelerate the use of hydrogen will be needed.

The exhibition

As the largest exhibition of its kind, Gastech Milan will provide space for 750+ exhibitors to showcase the value that they can bring to the industry. Outdoor exhibition space will be available for the demonstration of lower-carbon technologies and mobility solutions. And, with over 24 international pavilions, the show floor will have a truly international appeal supporting an integrated world-class business environment.

The conference

As the global energy landscape undertakes a rapid transformation, being present at Gastech 2022 will be critical in securing the position of your business in our new energy future. Access the latest industry knowledge, technical expertise, products, solutions, and services. Register for your complimentary visitor pass register.gastechevent.com

Conference attendees can look forward to hearing from over 900 speakers in sessions covering the latest commercial and technical developments as well as insights from over 180 ministers, CEOs and policymakers. They will lead the debate and convey their unique perspectives on the state of the energy industry and ambitions on how it will evolve over the coming decades.

Future Energy Series: Africa

Throughout, attendees will take advantage of carefully curated 1-2-1 meetings between stakeholders, investors and technology providers to ensure deals are made and projects advanced.

On the agenda are thematic outlooks, investment-ready project showcases, technical showcases, as well as in depth national showcases from select African governments who will highlight the best of their country’s future energy portfolio. All content is focused on deal-making to allow investors, developers and operators to access new investment opportunities and originate projects across Africa.

FESA will host a carefully reviewed group of energy leaders from the finance community, government, academia and the private sector who are critical to FIDs being made and new projects breaking ground. What sets the event apart is its joined-up approach which not only looks at the future of Africa’s green economies, but the here and now – creating an engine room for project origination and sustainable development.

Africa Oil Week

AOW prides itself on offering unrivalled opportunities that drive investment and deal-making across the continent, thus shaping the future of Africa.

What sets AOW apart from the competition is the seniority of delegates. In 2019 we welcomed 26 global Ministers, 400+ C-level delegates, as well as hundreds of SVPs and VPs of Africa, Exploration, New Ventures and more.

The Africa Oil Week conference provides 4 days of pioneering insights, from ministerial panels to strategic outlooks and sessions designed to drive investment into the African upstream. At the heart of the event is the exhibition, where companies from across the sector can showcase their offering.

Ask many of our veteran AOW delegates, however, and they will tell you that the extensive and varied networking opportunities are what keeps them coming back year after year.

SIM Senegal

The event has established itself as one of the largest mining events in West Africa and is the only mining event supported by the Senegalese government dedicated to expanding the country’s mining sector.

While waiting for the 6th edition, we organised SIM Senegal Virtual Summit in January 2021, gathering 384 participants, 8 sponsors, 40 exhibitors, 31 speakers emanating from 29 countries online. The opening ceremony had the special participation of the honourable Minister of Mines and Geology of Senegal, Mr. Oumar SARR.

Senegal has a diverse portfolio of mineral resources, excellent port and road infrastructure, a skilled workforce, as well as being the financial hub of Francophone West Africa. Investing in Senegal is a sure choice.

SIM Senegal 2021 will concentrate on new developments and investment for further growth and expansion of the Senegalese mining sector.

BBTC MENA 2021

In today’s downstream industry, we are faced with new challenges and opportunities, with changing markets and a drive towards greater sustainability and decarbonisation. Refiners will continue to look to convert low value residues and increase conversion to curb low-value fuel oil production. Key objectives remain: increasing conversion, improving products, further integration with petrochemicals, reducing emissions and increasing margins.

Along with the process technologies, Catalysts will continue to play a central role in reaching these objectives. Catalytic processes are very much at the heart of all refineries. Producers are looking to select the best-suited catalyst to increase profitability, maximise production, increase integration & develop new revenue streams. Making the right selection in terms of Catalyst Management, waste management, different recovery & regeneration techniques is highly important when it comes to deciding on the best operational strategy for the coming years.
