ABU DHABI, February 13, 2025 – ADNOC Gas has signed a 14-year sales and purchase agreement under which it will supply up to 1.2 million tonnes per year (tpy) of LNG to state-owned Indian Oil Corporation (IndianOil), ADNOC Gas announced on Wednesday.

The LNG will be sourced from ADNOC Gas’s Das Island liquefaction facility, which has a production capacity of up to 6 million tpy, with the first deliveries scheduled to start in 2026. According to the announcement by ADNOC Gas, the total value of the LNG volumes could reach up to USD 9 billion over the agreement’s 14-year term

“This agreement strengthens our long-standing partnership with IndianOil and is a testament to the robust energy ties between the UAE and India. ADNOC Gas looks forward to supporting India’s plans to make gas 15% of its primary energy basket by 2030,” said Fatema Al Nuaimi, CEO of ADNOC Gas.

ADNOC Gas has been steadily expanding its customer base in past years with long-term LNG supply deals ranging between 400,000-1.2 million tpy and durations up to 14 years.
