Baker Hughes wins works for Australia’s Gorgon LNG
Australia SYDNEY, August 12, 2021 – Baker Hughes has been awarded a contract by Chevron to provide subsea compression manifold technology for the Jansz-Io compression (J-IC) project in Australia, the US energy technology company said on Tuesday.
Works will include delivering a subsea compression manifold structure, including module and foundation, horizontal clamp connector system and subsea controls. They will be installed on the offshore Jansz-Io gasfield.
The USD 4-billion J-IC project completed its FID in July and will maintain long-term production from the Chevron-led Gorgon LNG facility in Western Australia.
The financial value of the contract was not disclosed.
