Chevron invests in carbon capture tech
USA SAN RAMON, February 26, 2022 – Chevron has made further investments in London-based carbon capture technology company Carbon Clean, the American multinational energy company announced today.
Chevron made an initial investment in the company in 2020.
The two are developing a pilot for Carbon Clean’s CycloneCC technology on a gas turbine in San Joaquin Valley, California.
Chevron is targeting 25 million tonnes of annual carbon dioxide emissions in equity storage by 2030.
Size of the investments were not disclosed.
