BEIJING, October 19, 2017 – Chinese crude refineries have set a record in September, international media reported on Thursday.

At an average of 12 million bpd, volumes processed last month were up 12.7% year-on-year, and 8% higher compared to August this year, Reuters reported.

A new 200,000-bpd refining unit came on stream in Huizhou toward the end of September, the report added.
