Larsen & Toubro unit bags offshore contract
MUMBAI, March 20, 2017 – L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering has been awarded an engineering, procurement, construction and installation contract for ONGC’s Neelam redevelopment project, parent company Larsen & Toubro announced on Monday.
The USD 245 million contract will see L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering install a new process platform, three well head platforms and 32 kilometres of pipeline. The company will also carry out modification jobs on the Neelam field’s eight existing platforms.
The project, which takes place in the offshore Heera-Panna block 45 kilometres to the southwest of Mumbai, is scheduled for completion in April 2019.
