Saudi manufacturer GulfTek launches new facility

DAMMAM, October 12, 2023 – Saudi manufacturer GulfTek has inaugurated a state-of-the-art 23,000-square-metre manufacturing facility in Dammam, marking a step forward in the country’s production of instrumentation, the company announced on Thursday.

The facility, built under the In-Kingdom Total Value Add programme, will by next year house an operational forging mill.

The company now boasts around 45,000 square metres of production area in Saudi Arabia and anticipates a further USD 30 million in investment under its five-year plan.

“Our strategy is to bring the latest technology to the Middle East and manufacture world-class products locally,” managing director Vikas Handa told The Energy Year earlier this year.

GulfTek is one of Saudi Arabia’s largest manufacturers of engineering equipment, including rigs, rig equipment, valves, downhole and pressure control equipment, instrumentation fittings and flowmeters.
