Shelf Drilling wins Exxon extension
ABUJA, November 20, 2018 – Shelf Drilling has secured a one-year extension for a rig contract in Nigeria, the company announced Tuesday.
The Trident XIV jack-up rig will continue working with ExxonMobil through February 2020, with an additional one-year extension option.
“We are very pleased to have the opportunity to extend the Trident XIV contract in Nigeria. We see this contract extension as a further strengthening of our relationship with a highly valued customer in a very important market,” CEO David Mullen said in a company statement.
