Buru makes Australian discovery

PERTH, November 23, 2021 – Buru Energy has discovered significant wet gas at the Rafael 1 well in the Canning Basin in Western Australia, the E&P player announced on Tuesday.

 

The company found 165 metres of gas at depths between 3,785-3,950 metres.

The first well on the basin, Currajong 1, was spudded on July 2021 but failed at discovering significant resources.

Buru Energy and Origin Energy share a 50:50 share of the EP 428 permit.
