Evostel, a subsidiary of Al Zaid Al Quraishi & Brothers (AZAQ), is a Saudi technology company with more than four decades of experience in digital systems, automation, general electrical supply and IoT. Headquartered in Al Khobar, Evostel provides equipment and services to companies engaged in:

• Oil and gas, including exploration, extraction, refining, transportation via pipeline and tanker, and marketing
• Petrochemicals processing
• Water, gas and electricity distribution
• Mining and heavy industry, including mineral and metal extraction and processing
• Ground transportation and aviation

Evostel organises its activities along three business lines:

• Technology and IoT, which offers products and services for industrial and manufacturing control systems.
• Automation, which provides tailored automation solutions for industrial production, including system design, installation, calibration and maintenance. The division also provides training programmes for customers to support the implementation and ongoing operation of new technologies and systems.
• Energy and Electric, which delivers energy and electrical equipment and services including system installations, maintenance and energy audits.

The company sources equipment and components from domestic and global manufacturers and provides its services through dedicated in-house engineering teams as well as in collaboration with international partners.

Evostel has engaged in business with some of Saudi Arabia’s most prominent companies, including the Saudi Electric Company, Saudi Aramco and SABIC, and participated in some of the country’s most significant projects, such as:

• The installation of a sampling and density metering system for the 400,000-bpd SAMREF refinery, a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and ExxonMobil
• The supply and installation of a lighting control and monitoring system for Amaala Airport on Saudi Arabia’s northwestern coast
• The commissioning of earthing systems and the provision of soil testing services for The Line, a smart city currently under development in Tabuk Province and projected to house 9 million people.
