Murphy Oil Corporation is an independent multinational E&P company. The company owns and operates the majority of its North American onshore assets, which are located in:

• The Eagle Ford Shale (USA)
• Kabob Duvernay and Tupper Montney (Canada)

The company drills for and produces oil and natural gas, which is then delivered via third-party pipelines, trucks and railcars to facilities for processing into products such as petrol, diesel, jet fuel and other petrochemical materials before the components are delivered to various end users.

Murphy Oil Corporation drills for and produces oil and natural gas from several operated and non-operated fields across more than 100 blocks in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico. The produced hydrocarbons are then transported to shore through a pipeline or to a floating production system (FPS), which delivers the oil and natural gas to onshore facilities for processing into products.

Murphy Oil Corporation also has several exploration prospects across 65 blocks in the Gulf of Mexico to augment its producing infrastructure with near-field exploration.

In 2020, Murphy Oil Corporation became a Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures supporter and adopted its framework to begin its climate-related reporting.
