Saipem wins $500 million in contracts from Saudi Aramco
RIYADH, July 15, 2024 – Saipem has won two contracts from Aramco for projects offshore Saudi Arabia with a total value of USD 500 million, the Italian company said on Monday.
The company’s scope of work for the first project involves the EPCI of a 42-inch crude trunkline of around 50 kilometres in length for the Abu Safa field.
The second project involves the production maintenance programmes of the Berri and Manifa offshore fields.
Further details on the contracts were not released.
Saipem has a long history of working for Aramco. In 2020, the company signed a 12-year deal with the Saudi energy giant for onshore engineering and construction activities.
From 2021-2023, Saipem recorded annual orders valued at USD 1.63 billion from Aramco.
