ADNOC Gas awards $550 million in infrastructure contracts

ABU DHABI, July 15, 2024 – ADNOC Gas has awarded USD 550 million in EPC contracts to enhance the UAE’s sales gas pipeline network, the ADNOC subsidiary said on Monday.

The contracts were awarded to local EPC providers NMDC Energy and Galfar Engineering & Contracting W.L.L Emirates.

Works will support the next phase of the ESTIDAMA project, which will deliver higher volumes of gas to customers in the Northern Emirates.

The company also said that ownership of the USD 2.4-billion ESTIDAMA project is being transferred from ADNOC Gas to parent company ADNOC. ADNOC gas will continue to manage the project.

Of the USD 550 million in spending on the new contracts, around 70% is expected to flow back into the UAE economy through ADNOC’s In-Country Value programme, ADNOC Gas said.
